Every year the School of Mathematics & Statistics hosts events to promote mathematics and encourage the public to get involved in Mathsweek. This year was no different with events for school children happening on our city-centre, Grangegorman location.

The School of Mathematics & Statistics was delighted to take part, once again, in the annual SciFest celebrations.  Lecturers from the School were involved in the SciFest event held on the TU Dublin City Campus on Friday 5 May 2023 which was once again allowed to be in person following the pandemic.

Mathematics Volunteer Programme participants receive awards

Tuesday 25 April saw the presentation of certificates for participation and completion of the Mathematics Volunteer Programme - a volunteer tutoring scheme where TU Dublin students assist pupils from local DEIS schools with their mathematics learning.

On Saturday 22 April, Central Quad was open to anyone interested in studying the wide range of programmes available on that campus. It was part of a series of TU Dublin Open Days not only in Grangegorman but also on our Tallaght, Blanchardstown, Aungier Street locations.
