Joanne White is an assistant lecturer in the School of Surveying and Construction Innovation. She is passionate about promoting gender equality and supporting women's advancement in the construction industry. With over 15 years of experience in various roles within the sector, Joanne has developed a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities women face in this field. Her extensive academic research focuses on the integration of diversity in construction, and she has conducted numerous training programs aimed at empowering women and fostering inclusive workplaces.
As a Contractors QS, Joanne also has an interest in teaching estimating, tendering, measurement, sustainable buildings and construction advancements.
