Rosarie is an Assistant Lecturer in the School of Mechanical Engineering at Technological University Dublin, Bolton Street, City Campus. Her teaching responsibilities involve delivering modules and laboratory classes in the fields of Computer Aided Design (CAD), Engineering Software Applications, Thermodynamics and Engineering Mathematics. Rosarie has a keen interest in community based learning and delivers a module in Design and Team Building in conjunction with various community based partners.
Rosarie lectures a range of students completing Level 7, 8 and 9 programs in the School of Mechanical Engineering. Rosarie is the 1st year tutor for the BEngTech in Mechanical Engineering program, a role she has held for the last three years. Rosarie is also involved in the peer mentoring program for 1st year students.
She has a BE in Mechanical Engineering (Hons) from Letterkenny Institute of Technology (LYIT), and a Masters in Mechanical Engineering (Hons) from Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT). Rosarie also holds a Post Graduate Certificate in University Teaching and Learning from Technological University Dublin (TUDublin). She is currently completing a PhD in Modelling Dimensional and Functional Deviation of Micro Parts during Replication Tool Design.
Prior to joining the Mechanical and Design department, Rosarie has 13 year’s industrial experience in the semiconductor industry, where she has been involved in a range of cost saving projects. While working in industry she has held a number of team coordinator roles where she has acquired experience in the fields of Maintenance and Quality Engineering.
