Dr Kevin D. Delaney is programme chair of the level 8 Mechanical Engineering Programme. He lectures and researches in the areas of Design, Innovation, Knowledge Management and Engineering Education. In addition Kevin works as an Educational Developer for Convene, a collaboration between TU Dublin, UCD Innovation Academy and enterprise partners across seven major economic sectors. This government-funded Human Capital Initiative project is focused on supporting the Irish higher education system to meet the challenges and needs of enterprise.

Kevin previously spent 10 years in advanced development and design roles in the automotive and connector industries. He is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of Engineers Ireland.
