Keith's teaching focus is on digital and physical prototyping skills in product development. His primary subjects are Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE), Prototyping Techniques and Low Volume Manufacturing as well as Digital Manufacturing (3D Printing and CNC)

Expertise/ Research interests: CAD, CAE, Product Design, Product Development, Sports Engineering and Technology, 3D Printing.

Keith is a manufacturing and design engineer with R&D experience across an eclectic range of industries, from sports and aerospace to consumer goods. 

Keith worked as an engineer for Adidas, the Schivo Group and the University of Sheffield Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC) and as a Sports Technologist for the Irish Institute of Sport. 

Previous projects have included product development from concept to production, the manufacturing and testing of products in composite, 3D printed and machined materials and the exploration of industrial application of 3D printing in both polymer and metallic materials.
