Gerry Woods lectures mainly in Manufacturing and Robotics, Computer aided design, Rapid prototyping, Industry 4.0. He is involved in TU Dublin EV Formula student project and has experience in a wide variety of applied Industry based projects involving the design build and test of new products. Has also worked with Northern Ireland Engineering companies on new product development in conjunction with the Intertrade Ireland Fusion programme.

Research Interests

Robotics, Robotic 3D metal printing, Product design, Industry 4.0.

Awards:

• Best student Experience Award for Formula student project at the National Education Awards 2018.
• TU Dublin/ SUI Teaching Hero Award 2021.
