Higher Options and World Skills Ireland 2023

Published: 10 Nov, 2023

Students and staff from the School of Mechanical Engineering attended at the recent Higher Options and World Skills Ireland events in the RDS, Dublin from Wednesday 20th - Friday 22nd September 2023 to speak with second level students from across Ireland about opportunities within the school at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.

They also provided information on career opportunities within engineering across the broad range of disciplines available in the school.

There was great interest and excitement as students interacted with technology displays at the school stand, with a highlight being the Collaborative robot ('Cobot') developed by Pearse Browne (Mechatronics Engineering).

The School's presence was well received, and we look forward to representing the University again in 2024.
