PhD student Moazzam Shah Bukhari Syed addresses the United Nations (UN) during the World Youth Skills Day High Level Panel event
TU Dublin Doctoral Researcher Moazzam Shah Bukhari Syed recently addressed the United Nations (UN) during the World Youth Skills Day High Level Panel event as part of the UN High Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development. Moazzam is an award-winning sustainable development leader, education activist and researcher from Pakistan and is the founder of an award winning youth led social enterprise, The Walkway School in Pakistan.
Currently, Moazzam is pursuing a doctoral degree in the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering with a focus on Internet of Things & Digital Earth Twin for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Implementation Monitoring. He is part of the prestigious Science Foundation Ireland Centre for Research Training (CRT) in Advanced Networks for Sustainable Societies.
Moazzam is an alumnus of Youth Co:Lab, Asia Pacific's leading social entrepreneurship movement co led by UNDP and Citi Foundation. He also works with UNESCO SDG4Youth Network as a representative from Asia Pacific and several other youth led organisations on the advisory boards with a focus on global educational policies and youth led actions.
