Davitt Lamon is an Assistant Lecturer in the School of Architecture, Building & Environment at Technological University Dublin. He is also a registered Architectural Technologist with the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland (RIAI) and an accredited Project Supervisor for the Design Process (PSDP).

Davitt is a graduate of TU Dublin’s BSc (Hons) in Architectural Technology, MSc in (applied) Building Information Modelling & Management and Postgraduate Certificate in Digital Construction Analytics programmes. His research centres around advanced technologies within the built environment and methods of leveraging data during the building design process, shaped by his previous industry experience as an Associate Director for one of the leading architectural practices in Ireland.

His interests also include Design Science as a research method, Universal Design for Learning, and inclusive pathways to higher education. Davitt has a particular interest in Sustainability, Modern Methods of Construction and Design for Manufacturing & Assembly. He maintains close links with industry through involvement on the Build Digital Project, established under Project Ireland 2040 to foster increased levels of innovation in the Irish Construction Sector.
