Women in Technology United

In this Tech-Ed for Good video, Orla McMahon Lecturer in the School of Informatics and Cyber Security at TU Dublin provides describes a cross-campus initiative called Women in Technology United (WITU). The main aims of this initiative are to increase gender diversity on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) programmes and to enhance retention students on those programmes.

The WITU group runs various events for female students and those that identify as female throughout the year. There is also a WISTEM society which is run by students.
