Technology Support for Students with Disabilities
In this Tech-Ed for Good video, Dr Art Sloan, a lecturer in the School of Computer Science, TU Dublin, describes his role as Learning Support Liaison for all students of the School of Computer Science, pointing out that there are many supports available to students registered with TU Dublin’s Disability Support Service.
Support for Computer Science students with specific needs are usually related to additional resources and range from specialist input and output devices and specialist software to learning spaces – all to provide specific or additional help to those students who need it, in an effort to reduce inequality among the student body.
