After a Master of Science in Analysis, Design and Management of Information Systems at the London School of Economics (1989), Art worked in aerospace systems and new projects in science and commerce - mainly related to database system analysis. Began lecturing in 1994 at the National College of Industrial Relations and University College Dublin. Dr Sloan Joined Dublin Institute of Technology in 1999 as a member of the School of Computing - now the TU Dublin School of Computer Science. Dr Sloan completed his PhD in 2015 while with Dublin Institute of Technology School of Computing.
