TU Dublin ESTeEM event

The School of Computer Science welcomed back computer science graduates Deirdre Corr and Riana Roche this week at an ESTeEM event.  Dee and Riana spoke about their journeys through college and their careers so far to students currently studying in the School.  Their talks were honest and inspiring and both spoke very openly about their personal experiences.

Also invited to the event were women who are currently working in technology from a number of companies who collaborate with the School, including Amazon, Bearing Point, Citi, Edgescan, Etsy, Fidelity, HMCO, Mastercard and SAP. Many of these women are also graduates of computer science at TU Dublin.

Afterwards, students had the opportunity to chat with the professional women over an informal lunch.
