Dr Lida Fallah earned her PhD in Biostatistics from the University of Galway under the supervision of Professor John Hinde. She also holds a BSc and MSc in Statistics. Following her PhD, she completed a postdoctoral position at University College Dublin before joining Maynooth University as a Lecturer in Statistics.

In addition to her academic career, Dr. Fallah has gained experience as a consultant in the dynamic pharmaceutical industry. Her research interests include, but are not limited to, statistical modelling, survival analysis, clinical trials, and the application of statistics in medicine and pharmaceuticals.
