School to provide two subsidised study opportunities under 2021 Springboard+ programme
The School of Mathematical Sciences has been successful once again in receiving funding under the Government's Springboard+ scheme for its programmes.
For over 10 years, the School of Mathematical Sciences has been a participant in government labour market activation initiatives. It has provided upskilling and qualifications to hundreds of individuals, helping them gain the mathematical and statistical skills they required to rejoin the workforce or develop their careers.
The recent announcement of the 2021 Springboard+ opportunities (as part of the Irish Government’s Jobs Initiative) included two of the School's part-time programmes:
- Postgraduate Certificate in Applied Statistics (more details in our Postgraduate study section)
- CPD Diploma in Data Analysis for Professionals (more details in our Professional Development study section)
Springboard+ is an excellent initiative and the School is proud to be one of the higher education providers offering free and subsidised courses that develop new skills and, in particular, address the ever-growing demand for mathematical and statistical skills in the Irish economy.
