School supports Scifest National Final 2023
The School of Mathematics and Statistics once again made a strong contribution to SciFest and played a part in their National Final in 2023. The event brings student finalists from the 15 regional SciFest@College fairs to compete for several prestigious awards. The final represents the culmination of a year's dedication and hard work for the students.
This year Dr John Butler, a lecturer in the School of Mathematics & Statistics, TU Dublin was invited to present at the opening ceremony on 23 November 2023. He gave an online talk about some of his research on combining mathematics and neuroscience to study walking.
