School supports HEAnet roadshow @TUDublin
On 4 November, HEAnet held an online event as part of its 2022 roadshow, in conjunction with ICHEC and supported by the School of Mathematics & Statistics, for TU Dublin researchers and academics.
The School of Mathematics & Statistics has been instrumental in leading TU Dublin's high-performance computing (HPC) initiative in association with the ICE Research Institute and other academic schools. The initiative provides support, training, and access to national HPC resources through the Irish Centre for High-End Computing (ICHEC).
As part of this support, the School collaborated with HEAnet (Ireland's National Education and Research Network) and ICHEC for TU Dublin to host one of its 2022 roadshows. The online event was an opportunity to learn more about:
- Respective service offerings to support research
- Collaboration and funding opportunities
- Support in developing Research Infrastructures
- Support in preparing computational models and software to run on national and European HPC infrastructure
The event featured, Roberto Sabatino, HEAnet Research Engagement Officer, and Goar Sanchez, ICHEC National Service Manager.
