Abstract: A major trend in the theory of completely integrable systems is the derivation and study of integrable generalizations or analogues of well-known integrable equations. In the present talk, some generalizations of the 1+1 dimensional Heisenberg ferromagnet equation will be discussed. The Heisenberg ferromagnet equation represents a classical example of a completely integrable system. Due to its importance for physics - it describes the dynamic of a spin chain - it has been subject to numerous multicomponent and multidimensional generalizations. The nonlinear evolution equations to be considered in the talk have zero curvature representations associated with simple Lie algebras from the classical infinite series and certain algebraic constraints imposed. |
