Book publication
A launch date of September 2023 has now been confirmed for a new book authored by Dr. Matt Smith. The No Starch Press will publish Dr. Smith's "PHP Crash Course", distributing through Penguin Random House Publisher Services. TU Dublin students studying web development modules have already seen draft chapters to support their learning, and some have provided useful feedback to help improve the book before its release. Dr. Smith is also in talks with Packt publishers about a 2024 update of the popular Unity Cookbook (currently in its 4th Edition) for game programming (https://www.packtpub.com/product/unity-2021-cookbook-fourth-edition/9781839217616).
