Dr Justina Setkute joined Technological University Dublin in March 2020 as a Lecturer in Digital Marketing. Previously she has been working as a Lecturer in several universities, such as Robert Gordon University (Aberdeen, Scotland), Coventry University (Coventry, England), and Dublin City University (Ireland) based at Princess Nora Bint Abdulrahman University (Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia).
She is based in School of Marketing and is currently teaching and acting a module leader for the following modules: Social Media Marketing, Marketing Technology, Digital Marketing Management and Introduction to Marketing to undergraduate and postgraduate students. In her previous roles Justina has been responsible for Digital Analytics, Digital Marketing Portfolio, Contemporary Marketing Issues and Digital Innovation, Creativity and Enterprise modules. She is supervising undergraduate and postgraduate students in digital marketing.
Justina’s research interest lies in digital marketing, digital marketing communications, B2B marketing, SME marketing, and marketing practice. Justina has completed PhD on digital marketing communications, which investigated how B2B SMEs use digital marketing communications and what role it plays as a part of their marketing practices. She is also interested in researching digital marketing in higher education context.
In 2018 she graduated with PhD in Digital Marketing degree from Robert Gordon University. As a part of the studies, Justina has also received PGCert with Distinction in Research Methods. She completed MSc in Marketing at National University of Ireland Galway and received First Class Honours Degree in 2011. In 2010 she received my BA (Hons) degree in Management and Business Administration. Justina has also completed training and achieved Fellowship with Higher Education Academy (FHEA) now Advanced HE. Prior her academic career, Justina worked as a Marketing Manager for several years in the oil and gas industry.
