Bhuvan is an Assistant Lecturer (Corporate Governance) and a Year Tutor (BBS Y2) at Technological University Dublin, School of Global Business. She is in the final year of her PhD and works at the intersection of organisational psychology, employee wellbeing, human resources, and mindfulness. Her PhD title is, ‘A Qualitative Study to Explore the Influence of Psychosocial Factors and Sociocultural Situatedness on the Sustainability of Mindfulness Practice among Employees in Organisations’. For the doctoral qualification, Bhuvan explores the workplace sociocultural and psychosocial contexts, which continue to be challenging and might inhibit employees from engaging in mindfulness practice. Not many researchers have explored the challenges employees face in practising mindfulness in their work environments. This research explores how psychosocial factors and sociocultural situatedness may inhibit or facilitate employees in integrating the practice of mindfulness into their workday within organisations in Ireland.
