TU Dublin School of Management, People and Organisations Students Shine at International Case Competition in China
A huge congratulations to our BSc. Business and Management students Charlie Reynolds, Charlie O’Donoghue, David Dunne, and Donna Byrne, who represented Technological University Dublin at the 29th Network of Network of International Business Schools (NIBS) Case Competition in Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics, China!
Competing against 16 top universities from across Europe, Asia, and the Americas, our team navigated three intense rounds to secure a semi-final spot, where they were narrowly edged out (6-5) by Babes-Bolyai University.
Commenting on the experience David said “although we couldn’t quite achieve our ambition to win the competition, challenging ourselves against top teams and learning from company executives and team coaches is an experience we will never forget”. Charley added “it was so great to observe Chinese life and culture first hand and competing was definitely the highlight of my undergraduate studies”.
Team Coach Eoghan O'Grady expressed his gratitude to the team “Thank you Charlie, Charley, David and Donna for being wonderful ambassadors for your programme, the faculty and the wider university all week” and his gratitude to the NIBS Organising Committee and the host university Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics (JUFE) and competition sponsor LI Du Wine for organising such a great event.
A huge thank you to Eoghan O'Grady for his mentorship and support, and to Network of International Business Schools, Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics, and sponsor LI Du Wine for organising such an outstanding event!
Congratulations to Babes-Bolyai University, the 2024 NIBS Champions, and we look forward to the 2026 edition in Toronto with the University of Guelph-Humber.
💙💛 Well done to our students for being incredible ambassadors for TU Dublin!
