Reflecting on a Year of Progress: Key Milestones from GETM4 in 2024

Published: 3 Mar, 2025

The TU Dublin School of Management, People and Organisations is proud to be part of the Global Entrepreneurial Talent Management 4 Project and to contribute to these important conversations on entrepreneurship, innovation, and resilience!

The progress made in 2024, see further information below,—from research to global knowledge exchange—highlights the power of collaboration in shaping the future of education and entrepreneurial action. We’re excited to build on this momentum in 2025 and beyond!

Looking back on a year of progress with GETM4!

2024 was a great year for the GETM4 project. As we already shared previously, we achieved a 90 months of staff exchange and hosted 4 sandpits in Ireland, South Korea, the UK and Slovenia. In 2025 we hosted the sandpit in Chile, which was an incredible way of starting the year. Beyond that, we are still celebrating some key milestones achieved in 2024 that are shaping the way we understand entrepreneurial action in disruptive times.

📌 Laying the groundwork: Our Overall Research Design

This framework is an output by the Individual Entrepreneurs research stream that brings together seven research streams, each exploring different aspects of disruption—from industry shifts to ethical knowledge transfer. It’s our roadmap for strengthening resilience and innovation in an ever-changing world.

📌 Reimagining education: The Higher Education Innovation Evaluation

How do we equip graduates with the courage to innovate and the agency to drive change? The report delivered by the Higher Education Innovation research stream explores creative confidence in education and how entrepreneurship can be embedded across disciplines to prepare students for an unpredictable future.

📌 A major publication on the horizon

We’re thrilled that our book chapter, “Towards Physical and Mental Wellbeing in a Disrupted World via Entrepreneurial Action Underpinned by Responsible Digital Innovation”, will be published in 2025. It’s a huge achievement for a project of this scale, and a testament to the dedication of our team.

To everyone who has contributed to GETM4 in 2024—thank you. Your collaboration and commitment have built a strong foundation for what’s next. Here’s to another year of meaningful research and real impact
