Dr Kevin Byrne, DBA, MBA, BA, NCC, IRCA, FISCE 

Kevin's last role was the head of the department of management on the TU Dublin, Tallaght Campus. Kevin began his current 27 year teaching career with the Dublin Institute of Technology where he was former head of department of print and digital media. He has taught from level 6 to level 9 on the national framework of qualifications as well as supervising a significant number of postgraduates and at PhD level. 

Kevin has project managed and been lead researcher on two EU funded major research projects, Minerva Doodle and INTERREG ESTIIC. 

Kevin has participated in programme review panels and has also chaired these. He held a role as external examiner at the highly acclaimed Nottingham Business School at Nottingham Trent University.  

Kevin has also held senior roles in the private sector in organisations servicing multinational organisations.

Kevin’s specialities are operations, strategy, quality, and systems development. He maintains a keen interest in technological development.
