Ruth O’Leary is a Lecturer in Tax, Audit, Investment & Portfolio Management, Risk Compliance & Disclosure, Project Management and Management Accounting. Ruth is a Chartered Management Accountant and a Chartered Tax Adviser. Ruth worked for several US multinationals in accounting and operations roles before starting her own practice and lecturing part time. Ruth has lectured to CPA and IATA evening classes and contributes to collaborative programmes with PAT Business School.

Ruth is a fellow of the chartered institute of management accountants (CIMA) and chartered tax advisor. She represents the School on the university disciplinary committee and is programme coordinator for BSc (Hons) in Accounting programme. with a strong research interest in advancing pedagogical practice in Accounting Economics and Finance aligned to the university education model, Ruth currently coordinates AmplifyME Financial Accelerator and Goodbody Student Managed Fund.
