Dr. Ruth Craggs is a lecturer and researcher in the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management, TU Dublin.  Ruth lectures on a range of event, tourism and research methods modules and supervises dissertations at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. She has extensive experience of third level education, teaching, research, and curriculum development.  She is the BSc Event Management programme chair.  Her research interests include events and festivals, impact assessment, consumer behaviour, business tourism and skills development in tourism.  She is currently involved in the SEIK project (Sustainable Event Industry Knowledge) and is a member of the EMEI (Event Management Educators Ireland).  Ruth is a researcher on the Next Tourism Generation Alliance, a European Erasmus funded project.
