Rory O’Farrell is an economist with over a decade of experience working for policy institutes, international organisations, and in academia.

Rory currently lectures economics in TU Dublin's School of Hospitality Management and Tourism. Up to August 2020 Rory worked in the Science, Technology and Innovation Directorate of the OECD in Paris, having previously worked for the OECD’s Economics Department, and for the trade union linked NERI (Dublin) and ETUI (Brussels).

Since completing his PhD in economics at the EUI (Florence), Rory’s research can be found in journals such as Labour Economics and New Technology, Work and Employment. In addition, Rory has contributed to the media, with articles appearing The Irish Times and the Irish Independent.
