Jennifer lectures in the School of Hospitality Management and Tourism, building on her over twenty years’ experience in international hospitality management. Her current research and teaching focus extends to innovation, strategic and operations management, governance, ethics, HRM, marketing and scholarship of teaching and learning. As part of the lecturing team in Technological University Dublin, Jennifer has been a year tutor on both day and evening programmes and has been involved in the development of international Joint Masters programmes.
Since completing her MBS evaluating tourism learning networks, her research focus has been on the meaning and measurement of professionalism in tourism. In addition, Jennifer has previously worked on the design and evaluation of a bespoke problem-based learning degree programme designed for SME tourism owner-managers. Drawing on her strong links with industry, her previous roles have also involved research on service innovation, tourism & rural development, and business model development.
