Nicole Turner Takes Home Gold and Bronze at the European Championships
Nicole Turner, a sports Athlete Scholar in TU Dublin and a 2nd Year student on our BA in Sports and Leisure Management, is currently enjoying an extraordinary run of success!
European Para Swimming Championships Success
On April 26th Nicole won Gold representing Team Ireland at the European Para Swimming Championships in Madeira. Nicole won in the Women’s 50m Freestyle S6 with a time of 35.51. Earlier in the week Nicole also won bronze in the 200m IM Final.
Sports Star Award
On May 2nd Nicole received a Sports Star Award at the TU Dublin Sports Awards. Nicole also formed part of a panel at the awards ceremony discussing ‘The Student-Athlete Journey’ which was hosted by All-Ireland Winning Captain, Radio & TV Broadcaster, Mindset Expert and Author -Anna Geary.
Well done and congratulations to Nicole on all her incredible achievements thus far. We also wish Nicole the very best of luck at the upcoming Paralympic Games in Paris 2024 this summer where she will once again represent Team Ireland!
