Qualifications:

Diploma in Social Integration and Enterprise for Community Development Workers from U.C.C

BA in Business, Enterprise and Community Development from Athlone I.T.

Masters in Public Policy (community and drugs policy) from U.C.D.

Teaching subject areas:

Fundamentals of Sociology, Social Policy, Social Policy Analysis, Power and Inequality, Advanced Research Methods

Research interests:

Political economy, political and social theory, Irish politics (north and south), macro-sociology and the political economy of social policy. He has published works in the fields of sociology and public policy. 

Employment:

Prior to joining TU Dublin in 2019, Chris worked in the community sector for 15 years, lectured in Community Development in the FET sector and worked as a tutor in U.C.D.
