Profile

Pat Hannon is a lecturer in Radio and Podcasting. He produces radio documentaries and podcast series.  He is an awarding-winning radio documentary and social action producer whose research interests include radio and podcasting audiences and public service broadcasting.  

He is passionate about storytelling techniques and audio production standards in radio and podcasting production. He specialises in mixing documentary and podcast productions, consultation and executive production oversight for series, special projects or one-off commissions. He is interested in all things radio and podcasting and how they are received by their intended audiences. 


Awards and Adjudication
Pat is the recipient of a PPI National Radio Award and a National Radio Advertising Award for a series on road traffic crashes. 

In 2014 was awarded a 'Teaching Hero' award from the National Forum for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education.

Pat serves as a judge on the IMRO BAI National Radio Awards.
