Odette Gabaudan holds an MSc in Applied e-Learning, an MSc in Tourism Management and she is a Certified Examiner for CEFR aligned DELF exams levels A1, A2, B1, B2 (Centre International d'Etudes Pédagogiques).
She lectures in applied French and she is Lead tutor for French. Her research interest is in Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL). She is currently co-leading the XR Team on EUt+ Alliance. The team’s mission is to facilitate inclusiveness for all through the development of an immersive environment for the EUt+. She is an active member of the SDGliteracy project team in TU Dublin – she designed an open educational resource for French. In parallel, her team was also successful in TU Dublin IMPACT’s bid for seed-funding to re-imagine a multi-disciplinary approach to programme development. In 2019 and 2020, she was a Teaching Fellow on the Co-Create Project aimed at developing a new curriculum framework for TU Dublin. With the support of funding from the Institut Français and local seed-funding, she has co-produced an open education resource (OER) for French grammar. She was also the local implementation leader (2015-2017) for a National Forum funded OER, Digilanguages, a portal aimed at enhancing digital literacies for language learning and teaching in Ireland and beyond.
