Carmel O’Reilly is a lecturer in French and English Studies at TU Dublin. Current modules include ‘B1 level French’, ‘Upper Intermediate level English’, ‘Texts for Stage and Screen’ and ‘Composition & Writing Skills’. In 2020, she also became a Ph.D. candidate in Creative Writing at The Seamus Heaney Centre, Queen’s University, Belfast, exploring narrative techniques in historical fiction. For the creative component, Carmel is writing historical fiction set in Ireland and England during the Tudor period.  She holds an M.A. in French and B.A. (Hons. English and French) from University College Dublin.
