Tena Štivičić’s epic play charts the troubled birth of a European nation.
The play follows the female lineage of the Kos family through key points of Croatia’s recent history, 1945, 1990 and 2011. Three Winters is both a family saga and the story of a nation.
Tena Štivičić is a Croatian-born playwright celebrated for her compelling narratives that delve into the complexities of human relationships and societal dynamics. Born in Zagreb, Croatia, she embarked on her journey in the world of theatre with a profound passion for storytelling. Štivičić's works are characterised by their rich character development, intricate plots, and keen observations of contemporary life.
