TU Dublin International Digital Marketing Week 2020
The line-up of speakers and activities is sure to get any Digital Marketing student excited with a session on 'Immersive Technologies' with Alex Gibson, TU Dublin, “Digital world in China” with Ernst de Roos, UASA and 'A Day in the Life of...' with Chris McVeigh, LinkedIn and Nessa O’ Hara from Google. The week is wrapped up to a close with an exciting Digital Challenge as students come together to compete in a Hackathon.
Our friends at Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences- Leonie Akkerman and Leontine van Geffen, two Digital Marketing lecturers created Sustainable Digiteers, an initiative to make a fair and sustainable study trip possible. They will travel from Amsterdam to Dublin and back in a more sustainable way to raise concerns about the attractiveness of sustainable travel options for students, follow their journey on their Blog. You will hear first-hand of their experience on Thursday 6th February as they present ‘Sustainable Digiteers’.
Organiser Dr. Tara Rooney, School of Marketing spoke on the event- ''We're delighted to welcome our friends from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences as they join us for a busy three days of immersion into the world of digital marketing. It's a great way for students from both universities to engage and learn from each other and challenge thinking.''
