TU Dublin Hosts International Digital Marketing Week 2023

TU Dublin will welcome students and staff from the University of Applied Sciences Amsterdam from Tuesday, 07 February to Thursday, 09 February 2023, for the fifth annual International Digital Marketing Week in Aungier Street. The School of Marketing and Entrepreneurship hosts the event. 

A delegation of over 60 students and staff from the Netherlands will join marketing students from TU Dublin in a series of workshops, seminars, and practical field trips, in the event organised locally by Edel Foley and Dr Justina Setkute. The visit of the Dutch students will also allow participants to build valuable networking and education links.

Speaking at the launch of this year's event, Alex Gibson, Head of Digital Marketing, said, "We are delighted to host our visitors for this event in the Faculty and around the city. While we were very successful in delivering the programme online over the past two years, it is the personal interactions between students and practical field trips that add so much value to the participants. This year's theme is Diversity and Inclusion, which offers students a chance to apply their digital tool-set in a context that is growing in relevance to today's business managers".

Suzanne de Koning, Team Leader, University of Applied Sciences, Amsterdam, said, "These past four years illustrate the good collaboration between our institutes. We share the desire to challenge our students to the max. Such a desire is what has brought us together. We all know that the concepts of diversity and inclusivity have a big meaning in today's world, and as such, we encourage students to seriously think about ways businesses could contribute to more diversity and inclusivity".
