A production of little known opera The Veiled Prophet by Irish composer Charles Villier Stanford will take place at the Wexford Opera Festival on Monday 28th October, featuring staff, students and alumni of TU Dublin Conservatoire.

Produced by Professor Una Hunt, the orchestra will be conducted by David Brophy, the chorus will include many current vocal students while the stellar cast of singers includes lecturers Mairead Buicke and Sinead Campbell Wallace, and graduate John Molloy.

This event is grant-aided by the Arts Council and will be captured for video with audio supervision by Ben Rawlins, sound engineer at the Conservatoire.  RTE lyric fm will relay the performance to radio stations across the European Broadcasting Union (EBU).  A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the vocal students from TU Dublin Conservatoire and a musical experience not to be missed.
