Recipe Competition

TU Dublin's Healthy Campus is collaborating with the School of Biological, Health and Sports Sciences in the creation of the TU Dublin Sustainable Cookbook Volume two. We’re inviting recipe submissions from students and staff that are healthy, sustainable, quick, easy, and budget-friendly for breakfast, lunch, dinner, desserts, and snacks. There are great prizes to be won, and this is a great opportunity to feature your culinary flair.

Closes 21 February 2025.

How to take part

  1. Review the 2024 edition of the cookbook for format and standard
  2. Review the TU Dublin Sustainability Cookbook T&Cs
  3. Take a photo of your dish.
  4. Complete the MS Form and upload your recipe and photo.

Tips for Food Photography

For your recipe to feature in the cookbook, we ask that you follow the guidelines below to take a great quality photo of your dish.

  1. Use a plain plate or bowl, preferably white, to display your dish.
  2. Use natural light, or position the plate of food close to a lamp for optimal lighting.
  3. Hold the phone or camera close to the dish.
  4. Ensure the dish fills the frame of the photo; avoid including people in the picture.
