The lead up to COP27, taking place in Egypt this November, creates the perfect opportunity to talk about climate action and what better place to start than our own city? In advance of the festival, a ‘Dialogue’ event is taking place on Friday 7th October, at Wood Quay Venue Dublin City Council. This workshop will gather Climate Activists including several TU Dublin students, Policy and Decision Makers and Dublin 7 Community Stakeholders with the aim to explore how to make Dublin 7 the first net-zero postcode in Dublin. The event presents an opportunity for participating students to understand the COP process in the lead up to COP27 in Egypt. The findings from this workshop will be presented and built upon at the COPON! Festival, and final recommendations will be formally presented at COP27.
