I’m Giada Franzolini, I work as Mental Performance Coach at Athleta Proximus and I am a martial artist with a deep passion for understanding the physical and mental aspects of performance. I’m currently studying Sports Management and Coaching at TU Dublin, and my background spans multiple martial arts, including karate, kickboxing, taekwondo, boxing, and Muay Thai. While I currently coach kickboxing, I’ve trained in all of these disciplines to develop a well-rounded and complete understanding of martial arts. For me, martial arts are more than just sport—they’re a way of life. They teach discipline, resilience, and self-awareness, and they also challenge us to be mindful of how we treat ourselves, others, and the world around us. Whether it’s mental resilience, sustainable training practices, or fostering a sense of community, I believe martial arts offer valuable lessons that extend far beyond the gym. Outside of martial arts, I’m the Vice Chair of Enactus TU Dublin, where, alongside Ethan, I lead social impact projects, and I also serve as a Peer Mentor Intern for TU Dublin, helping first-year students transition into university life. Additionally, I work internationally as the regional commissioner for youth Taekwondo in Italy, where I develop programs to introduce young athletes to competition in a fun and supportive way. Like Ethan, my passion for mental performance comes from personal experience. In martial arts, I’ve learned that success isn’t just about physical skill—it’s about mindset, confidence, and discipline. Whether you’re an athlete, a student, or just someone trying to improve in any area of life, your mental approach can determine your success. That’s why in our talk is all about giving you practical tools to take control of your mindset through goal-setting, self-talk, and visualisation.

I’m Ethan Levins, a Mental Performance Coach and founder of Athleta Proximus, where Giada Franzolini and I help athletes and students reach their full potential through sports psychology and nutrition. I’m currently studying Sports Management and Coaching at TU Dublin and have a background in elite-level football, having played in the League of Ireland at U17 and U19 levels. My passion for mental performance, philanthropy, and entrepreneurship comes from my own experiences with loss and personal challenges. After losing my father at 16, I struggled with confidence, resilience, and direction. I realised that the same psychological tools used by elite athletes—like self-talk, visualisation, and mental resilience techniques—could help me take control of my own life. Now, I teach these same strategies to athletes and students, helping them navigate challenges, build confidence, and perform at their best. As Chairperson of Enactus TU Dublin, I lead social enterprise initiatives that use business as a force for good. One of these projects, Football for Grief, is a program that provides a support system for people experiencing loss through football. For Green Week, I’ll be delivering a mental performance workshop alongside Giada Franzolini, where we’ll share practical tools to help you manage stress, build confidence, and enhance your performance in sport, academics, and business. These are the same techniques that helped me transform my mindset, and we’re excited to share them with you.
