Light up your Bike 2024
Clocks will go back on Sunday, 27 October and with the change, brings darker mornings and evenings during the winter months; to ensure a safer journey to campus it’s important that cyclists are visible on their bikes with front and rear bike lights.
As part of the ‘Light Up Your Bike’ campaign, the Transport for Ireland (TFI) Smarter Travel programme has free bike lights for all TU Dublin student and staff member who cycle to campus.
Please be aware that these bike lights are suitable for use as back up and should not be a cyclist’s primary bike light. They can also be taken by any pedestrian or wheelchair user who may want to use them on backpacks to increase their visibility on our streets and roads.
