Congratulations to TU Dublin Healthy Campus Interns and final year Public Health and Nutrition students, Laura Kestell and Sarah Healy who received a volunteering award for Health and Wellbeing at the TU Dublin Student Volunteering Awards 2024.

The celebratory evening was held at TU Dublin's Grangegorman campus on 18 April and was led by Claire Flannery, Student Volunteering Co-ordinator at TU Dublin.

The ceremony celebrated the many students who volunteered their time, effort and talent to a number of worth causes and charities.

Laura and Sarah’s work included assisting with new Grangegorman Community Garden, the planting of a new Pocket Forest on campus, providing Healthy Sustainable Eating presentations, assisting with Student Feel Good Days, distributing Sustainable Goody Bags to all incoming first-year students during orientation, assisting Campus Planning with Space Occupancy Analysis, organising the 5-Week Couch-to-5K Series and Fun Run, and developing the TU Dublin Healthy Campus Cookbook amongst many other initiatives.

Well done to all involved.
