Under the three pillars of ‘People’, ‘Planet’, and ‘Partnerships, TU Dublin strives to be a living breathing powerhouse for sustainability. Collaborative projects like the Grangegorman Community Garden engages our people with the community, industry, and local government where together they can co-create deep and positive impacts in society and support the 2030 Agenda.

Co-creating a new community garden on the Grangegorman campus with multiple campus stakeholders, to offer sustainability and educational gardening activities to students, staff, and the community.

Desired Outcome

Establishing a sustainable collaborative governance model for a community garden, which can be replicated across other campuses and community spaces. If the pilot is successful, we would like to see the project permanently established with robust support and have the garden enjoyed by more users.
