Climate Justice Workshop
Do you want to gain a deeper understanding of climate justice and what we can do to incorporate it into our practice and instigate meaningful action?
Join this free online 'Climate Justice' workshop on the 20 September 2024 at 10-12pm. The workshop is facilitated by Eimear Manning from the National Youth Council of Ireland (NYCI). The workshop is part of The Future Generations Project that brings the unique voices of young people who are missing from the climate discourse.
Young people from marginalised, rural, and disadvantaged backgrounds are often left out of the conversation and their reality is oftentimes not represented in national and global policies as a result. The Future Generations Climate Justice Charter was created as a tool that supports organisations to contribute to the systemic change needed.
During the workshop, you will:
- gain a deeper understanding of Climate Justice
- understand the Future Generations Climate Justice charter and how it can be embedded in practice
Who should join?
This workshop is ideal for academic and non-academic TU Dublin staff who would like to learn more about climate justice and embed it within their practice.
