Celebrate International Day of Education - apply for the NTUTORR Fellowship Programme

The United Nations (UN) General Assembly proclaimed January 24th as International Day of Education, in celebration of the role of education for peace and development. Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) Goal 4 ‘Quality Education’ is fundamental for the development of sustainable societies and contributes to the achievement of all 17 SDGs.

Are you passionate about Quality Education and have ideas that could enhance the student experience at TU Dublin?

The National Technological University Transformation for Resilience and Recovery (NTUTORR) project aims to deliver transformative change for the technological Higher Education sector. The project will transform the student experience and address key challenges arising out of the pandemic including:

NTUTORR have recently launched the Students as Partners in Innovation Fellowship Programme, as an opportunity for students and staff to collaborate on projects that improve the student experience within their own institutions. As part of the fellowship programme, NTUTORR are seeking applications from student and staff teams OR individual students. Projects will take a ‘Students as Partners’ approach and will address the following themes:

Projects might be focused on a specific module, programme or discipline or might be campus or institute-wide.  Each project must address at least one of the themes below and should result in a positive change that can be sustained.  

  1. Digital Transformation in Teaching and Learning  
  2. Education for Sustainability   
  3. Equality, Diversity & Inclusion  
  4. Universal Design for Learning (UDL) 
  5. Academic Integrity and Assessment
