Champion Theme: Employability

Dean Riordan is a student studying a BSc (Honours) in Chemical Sciences with Medicinal Chemistry. He is based on the Grangegorman City Campus.

He is an N-TUTORR champions for the Employability thematic area, and is also a student partner involved in a project for green chemistry and sustainability. He also holds a certificate of higher education in Health Sciences.

He chose the thematic area of employability due to his desire to enhance the skills of students when looking for both placement and work. As student champion he is driven to introduce workshops and host events which further connect students with employers. He hopes to build new and lasting relationships between the University and employers.
