IT Security and Data Governance is excited to announce the introduction of Sensitivity Labels and Data Loss Protection rules, powerful tools designed to enhance data security across the university. This initiative reflects our commitment to safeguarding sensitive information and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.

What Are Sensitivity Labels?

Sensitivity labels allow us to classify and protect data based on its level of sensitivity. Data Loss Prevention

Sensitivity labels can be linked to Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies to enhance data protection. Data loss prevention is a security solution that identifies and helps prevent unsafe or inappropriate sharing, transfer, or use of sensitive data.
