Entrepreneurial, Creativity and Growth-mindset skills - GROWTHhub Activities 2023-2024 for students & staff.

GROWTHhub is TU Dublin's Entrepreneurial Learning Centre, where the students have opportunity to engage in extra-curriculum activities to help them to develop their entrepreneurial, creativity and growth-mindset skills.

GROWTHhub Summary of Activities

Here are some of the activities we offer for students and staff. Activities are extra-curriculum and free of charge.

STUDENTS ACTIVITIES

Open to all TU Dublin students.

Hackathon/Challenges	TU Dublin President’s Sustainability Innovation Challenge Hackathon to address global sustainability challenge with cash prize for winners. Supported by Workday.	During reading week: Thursday 02 November 2023 Friday 03 November 2023
Idea to Pitch programmes	Venture Lab & Social Enterprise Venture Lab Idea to pitch online programme. Award: CPD Cert in New Venture Design (5 ECTS).	Starting November 6 2023
	ivenTUre Summer entrepreneurship accelerator programme. Award: CPD Cert in Enterprise Development (5 ECTS). In collaboration with TU Dublin Enterprise Engagement.	June 2024
	ClimateLaunchpad The biggest green business idea competition on the planet. Open to anyone in Ireland with a green business idea (students, staff, researchers...).	Online Applications opening April 2024.
	Enterprise Idea & Pitch Clinics One-to-one sessions, where students can get feedback and advice on their enterprise idea and enterprise pitch. Also suitable for competition preparation.	Ongoing
Learning Recognition/Awards	GROWTHhub TU Dublin Entrepreneurial Student of the Year Award: Recognition of the studententrepreneurial achievement among full time TU Dublin students that demonstrate entrepreneurial vision, leadership, and success.	May 2024
Learning Recognition/Awards	Digital Badges: TU Dublin Digital Badge in Entrepreneurship Design Thinking Accreditation for entrepreneurship competences. Open to staff and students.	Ongoing
Access to Entrepreneurs	Speakers Series - Talks at GROWTHhub Interviews and events with leading innovators and entrepreneurs.	Monthly live talks monthly at each campus Recorded interview available online at Talks at GROWTHhub
Access to Entrepreneurs	Entrepreneurial Ambassadors Support and guidance from successful entrepreneurs and innovation leaders at a School level.	Ongoing

Entrepreneurship Education Bursaries	Entrepreneurship Education Bursaries to support teaching and learning projects targeting development of entrepreneurial competences and skills. Call for submissions in October 2023.
ClimateLaunchpad	The biggest green business idea competition on the planet.
Content creation studios	Podcast & Recording studio.
CPD Certificate in Entrepreneurship Education	Currently building CPD Cert in Entrepreneurship Education to support educators develop and implement entrepreneurship related learning outcomes in modules and programmes.
Entrepreneurship Education: Share & Learn Symposium	The objective of the Share and Learn Symposium is to expose participants to new practices and provide opportunities for feedback and discussion. When: Wednesday 01 November 2023 Where: TU Dublin Aungier Street
Entrepreneurial Ambassadors	Support and guidance from successful entrepreneurs and innovation leaders. Entrepreneurial Ambassador currently being recruited and assigned to TU Dublin schools.
Entrepreneurship and Innovation Community of Practice	To support the community of interested academics and practitioners to improve learning & teaching, research and next practice in the Entrepreneurship and Innovation domains in the University.
Entrepreneurship Digital Badges	Entrepreneurship competences accreditations.
Entrepreneurship Educator Repository	Currently constructing a repository to support entrepreneurship educators.
Ideation & Design Thinking Workshops	Monthly workshop runs at each campus. Next workshop: 09 September 2023 - Join Our Workshop: Innovative Teaching with LEGO® and iPads
Ideation Lab	Creative & collaboration space – available by appointment Lego kits & iPads available for transformative learning.
