Oisín Lennon
Entrepreneurial Ambassador with the School of Arts and Design
Oisín Lennon, the founder and CEO of Danu Sports, is an industrial designer with a passion for sports, healthcare, and design. Building on concepts explored while completing his undergraduate Product Design thesis at TU Dublin, Oisín founded Danu Sports to develop a wearable movement analysis system designed to replicate the accuracy of lab-based analysis while removing the constraints of such equipment. In doing so, Danu Sports is on a mission to help maximise athlete potential and remove the physical, emotional, and monetary costs of injuries in sports and medicine. Oisín has so far raised over €4.5m of investment from a variety of sources including private investors, the European Space Agency BIC, and Enterprise Ireland.
Oisín is excited to work with students and help them turn their ideas and innovations into reality. He can offer advice on how to start a business, grow that business, product development, investment, supply chain creation/management, and grant/incubation support. Oisín can particularly help any people developing hardware to navigate through the trenches of the early stages of their business journey and persevere towards success.
A message from Oisín:
I'm truly excited and honoured to become an Entrepreneurial Ambassador and work with the innovative minds of TU Dublin. Although I am far from finished with my entrepreneurial learnings, I look forward to sharing the many insights of my journey so far with the next generation of entrepreneurs
