Skillnet Ireland 25 Years

We were delighted to attend the Skillnet Ireland 25 Year event last evening and celebrate the success and impact of our Skillnet Ireland partners supporting Irish Business over the last quarter of a century.

The TU Dublin Enterprise Academy proudly works with multiple Skillnet Business Networks brokering relationship across Technological University Dublin to co-develop innovative, educational solutions and prepare a highly skilled workforce to meet the ever-evolving demands.

Our longstanding partnerships have produced programmes successfully co-designed and run in collaboration with Technological University Dublin and Cultural & Creative Industries Skillnet; Technology Ireland ICT Skillnet; BioPharmaChem Skillnet; Aviation Skillnet and Technology Ireland DIGITAL Skillnet, amongst others.
SKILLNET WINNERS

The TU Dublin Enterprise Academy also supports Skillnet Networks planning to engage with the higher education sector for the first time, to help them navigate the broader university landscape. 
Earlier this year, the Enterprise Academy lead a webinar with our Skillnet Business Network partners and enterprise learners to share examples of longstanding Skillnet Ireland programmes successfully co-designed and run in partnership with TU Dublin. We also shared suggestions to help navigate the broader university landscape, for Networks planning to engage with the higher education sector for the first time. 

Earlier in 2024, a strategic collaboration to meet the needs of rapidly growing sportstech industry in Ireland, Technology Ireland Digital Skillnet, SportsTech Ireland and TU Dublin Enterprise Academy launched the country’s first-ever Postgraduate Diploma in Sports Analytics, Technology and Innovation course. This programme is designed for industry professionals seeking cutting edge knowledge across the business of sports and data. Building on its success, a second round of this programme and a Masters track are in development for 2025.

Our special congratulations to Maire Hunt Director of Technology Ireland DIGITAL Skillnet who received an award for her outstanding contribution to Skillnet Ireland and her work future-proofing skills across all sectors. We are delighted that Maire is recognised as the visionary leader she is and for the dedication, energy and passion she brings to every project, in particular our own at Technological University Dublin. She has blazed a trail for women in the workplace, leading award winning programmes including Women Reboot and the new Digital Athlete programme.
